Looking again

book titled "Called to be servants of God" by Warren W. Wiersbe,

this time I stopped in a few paragraphs that caught my attention and read as follows:

".... When a political candidate appears on TV, the most important member of your team

is not the speech writer but the creator of the image, the media expert communication

When you see yourself more interested in his "image" for his character and his work,

you have left to glorify God.

God is glorified when his service bears fruit. Jesus said, "Herein is my Father glorified,

that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. "( John 15:8).

There is a difference between" fruit "and" results ".

You can get" results "following formulas for success sure, manipulating the

people or using their charismatic skills;

but the "fruit" comes from life.

When the Spirit of life is working through the Word of life the seed planted

bears fruit, fruit that is in itself the seeds of most fruit (Genesis 1:11-12).

count results and statistics soon become silent,

but the fruits remain alive and continue to multiply for the glory of God (John 15:16).

Let me suggest one more evidence that his ministry glorifies God

the enemy opposes what he is doing.

The apostle Paul said: "Because I have opened a great door and effectual,

and there are many adversaries" (1 Corinthians 16:9).

opportunities and opponents usually appear together,

and opponents can create new opportunities.

Satan encourages those who exalt themselves and rely on its resources,

but hates those who let the Spirit of God works and glorify Jesus Christ.

problems in the ministry will be offered twice:

the opportunity to glorify God

or the opportunity to exalt himself ........"

As children of God, saved by the atoning blood of Jesus Christ ,

should ask ourselves and consider whether our lives, our ministry, whether that be in the Work

God, our witness ..... truly glorifies God

or simply

is the means to honor and praise to our ego.

Times are bad and difficult and we can not waste time

getting carried away by this world with its ambitions.

present our lives, no corners in total consecration to God,

for faithful instruments bearing fruit,

and fruit in abundance, for the glory and honor to our Lord and Savior.

The opponent will rise to face, but remember that
